Cave-Wagon tours 2026

Visit the Aging Cave on our Sheep Farm

This tour includes a charming wagon ride on a winding path through our acreage and up the hill to peek inside our cheese aging cave!

Make it an extra fun day: add a Valley Shepherd cheese tasting tray to your visit. One tray serves two people. Trays are pre-order only.

When: September 12 – November 7, Saturdays & Sundays at 1:30pm

Reservation cutoff: Thursday morning for Saturday tours, Friday morning for Sunday tours.

Tours are rain or shine! No rebooking or date changes, no refunds or exchanges.

Tour itinerary (about an hour+)

• Gallery (~15 min): Intro movie & questions, plus a peek into the cheesemaking room, barn, and milking parlor.
• Cave (~45 min): Wagon ride to the cave and back, with a walking tour inside.
• Cheese tasting: Pre-purchased trays will be waiting in the Gallery when you return. We provide bread, balsamic & olive oil, and wine glasses/openers. Feel free to bring beer, wine, extra food, and accoutrements, and enjoy them on our covered porch or at the outdoor tables.

FYI: Our horse Pumpkin and her mini donkey friends LOVE apples, carrots, oranges, pears, strawberries, bananas, watermelon, and peppermint candies. Feel free to bring them a little snack!
